River Views and Fab Service

amazing view helpful staff upgraded decor extra mile
Staff booked taxis for me to the event and back to the Rail Station. Breakfast had amazing views of the Quayside. coffee machine was a bit wobbly, staff were helpful. The upgraded decor is marvelous! They gave me an upgraded room, and this extra mile effort made a good impression.
Check-in wasn't the best. The receptionist didn't seem happy to be there.

The hotel has a gym, even though it was shut for refurbishment . It is close to the Tyne river and easy to take a walk around the quayside area. A secure parking lot is right across from the hotel.

My room includes amenities like a nespresso coffee machine and bottled water. chocolates. The bathroom was excellent, and the shower was fabulous to use every morning. Bath robes and slippers was in my room.

The receptionist was professional and friendly at arrival. Breakfast staff was helpful, and the bar staff felt friendly too. Tessie stood out. She waited on me seven years ago and remembered me so fondly.

the location was perfect. i found the bed quite comfortable and enjoyed a good night's sleep. i particularly appreciated the air conditioning, especially given the warm weather .

The location is very convenient for visiting The Glasshouse. My room overlooked the water. The room was large and clean. The temperature was easy to adjust.
The restaurant was not as good as expected considering the prices charged for the food and drinks.

efficient check-in bar vouchers friendly staff lovely ambiance
the check-in process was efficient. i received vouchers for the bar instead of housekeeping. the staff were helpful and friendly throughout my stay. the hotel's decor created a general ambiance i appreciated.
the room was a bit dark even with all the lights on so i had to do makeup in the bathroom.

good hotel, bad sleep

great location comfy bed
the hotel is in a great location. the room was very large and tidy. i also appreciated the big beds, very comfy. the staff at reception was very friendly and helpful.
the noise from the nearby bar kept me awake. bins outside my window were emptied at 1:30 am. i also woke up at 6:45 am because of a noisy refrigerated lorry. this was very inconvenient for my relaxing vacation.

The receptionist acted professionally on arrival. I appreciated the beautiful room with a king size bed. Amenities included a Nespresso machine biscuits coffee tea bags bottled water and chocolates. The bathroom featured a fabulous shower and the room also provided bathrobes and slippers
The gym was closed for refurbishment and I was told upon arrival. It was one of the main reasons I booked this hotel over others. I would have appreciated prior notification

outside noise faulty remote
the staff was friendly, acceptable.
The room i got was far from quiet. Noise from outside kept me awake. also, the tv remote didn't work which was annoying. i tried calling reception, but nobody answered, so i just gave up on watching tv.
